Film star Will Jonhson now integral part of The Zone UK
Wil Johnson is an English actor and producer whose multi-faceted career to date has encompassed celebrated roles in film, television and theatre.
He may be best known to television audiences as DI Spencer Jordan in the long-running International Emmy Award winning BBC Series Waking the Dead, but as justly loved as that show is, it is merely one string on an increasingly busy bow. Wil has played Othello for the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company, and appeared on the big screen in UK No1 hit films such as Adulthood and Anuvahood. He has starred in numerous roles on television for some of the best writers and directors working in the UK, including the BAFTA Award winning dramas Cracker, Clocking Off and Hidden Treasure (with the late John Thaw), Babyfather, the NTA winning series Waterloo Road and Holby City.
Wil can also be seen in the 2011 Golden Globe winner and Oscar winning Best Foreign film In A Better World, directed by celebrated European Director Suzanne Bier.
He is currently tackling a new challenge, joining the cast of the long-running serial Emmerdale as new character Dominic Andrews.
As an actor and a producer of films such as Amina and Disorientated Generation, both of which he also stars, Wil is committed to developing and appearing in films of quality and depth. As an integral part of The Zone UK, Wil, as producer, will bring not only his own unique and undeniable talents to bear, but also his drive to find and shine a light on new talent, both in front and behind the scenes.
